Art is Subjective

Currently we’re supporting one of our favourite charities, Open Family for the 21 Challenge. The aim of this campaign is to challenge people to do something (it can literally be anything) for 21 days with the view to raising funds and awareness for youth homelessness. Check out http://21challenge.com.au/ for more information.

Our office decided to get on board by taking it in turns to paint a small canvas every day, for 21 days.

It’s been quite a fascinating experience, as we watch everyone’s creative talent come to life. In a office there is a mixture of people including; the creative team (damn their amazing creative talent!), the marketing team, the executive team and the admin team, the competition is fierce as everyone aims to produce a master piece (or at the very least something that looks better than a five year old).

We’ve had a mixed response. Some people have met the challenge head on and have created quite simply amazing pieces of art, on the other hand others have been shall we say (cough) less than brilliant? But credit where credit is due, I have to put my hands together for all those in the DGM office who are not of the creative persuasion but are still giving it a go.

So with that in mind, we leave it to you guys, our faithful readers, to be the judge of our artwork. Let us know your thoughts.
