Positive Posters

For those of you who have not heard of Positive Posters, you are missing out, and luckily now reading my blog so you no longer have to. I am not a designer, but I love this not for profit organisation that showcases posters from designers around the world. Their tagline – “Important Issues, On Posters, By Designers,” says it all.

Each year they run a competition, with a set brief. The brief is never restrictive and open to many interpretations. This years brief is about an important issue within your country. It could be anything but must be a topical and important issue or problem related to your country.

Entry to the competition is 100% free, which is nice for designers as so many other competitions do have a fee. The resounding message is one of positivity and the greatest thing of all, if you are a designer or a creative studio you get free range on what to create. Check out some of the cool stuff on there, http://positive-posters.com/posters/

Our guys are busy on their designs ready for submission. I certainly don’t envy the judges, as some of the featured designs for 2011 are pretty amazing.

Follow them on Facebook and Twitter too http://www.facebook.com/positiveposters and http://twitter.com/#!/positiveposters

Oh and keep your eye out for our entries which will be submitted soon…
